So here we are in the home stretch of our journey.  We departed Missoula, Montana Jelly Stone Park this morning around 9AM.

We had lunch with my Aunt Penny and her husband George in Coeurdalene Idaho.  It’s been 15 years since I’ve seen my Aunt Penny so it was very nice to see her.  My Aunts Bulldog “Gus” ran all 3 of our dogs into the ground.  It was good for them to exert some energy while we had a peaceful lunch.  I don’t think any of them moved for about 3 hours after we left her house.

At the end of our journey today we will have traveled around 550 miles.  It will be good to be home.

Below are photos from today.

  1. Kent and Candace…loving your blog/updates! Thought you might be in the neighborhood tonight and, while on a family walk, stalked an RV that looked exactly like yours…WA plates, alas! 8:30 pm and I was ready to knock on the door to find you! It seems my estimation of your arrival may have been premature! Just want you to know that I’m looking out for your familiar faces in town and loving the travel-log!
